Alteration

Arkhipelagos reserves the rights to change, modify, add or remove portions of the Terms & Conditions under which our website is presented without your consent. Please check periodically for changes. Your continued access to our website following changes to this Terms & Conditions will mean that you accept those changes.

Limitation of Liability and Links to Third Party Site

Arkhipelagos will not be responsible to any damage to viruses that may infect your computer or other property on account of your browsing in this site or downloading of any text and images from the site. Arkhipelagos site may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by other parties, hereinafter such hyperlinks are provided for your reference only. Arkhipelagos does not control such websites and is not responsible for their contents.

Arkhipelagos and its agents acts only in the capacity of an agent for the clients and shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss or delay to the property of person, or expenses of whatever kind arising from the use of our services from sickness, fire, natural calamities, acts of god, strikes, government restrictions, law and regulations or whatsoever caused. Any losses or additional expenses resulting from the above shall be fully borne by travelers.

Arkhipelagos and its agents act only as agent for the transportation companies, hotel contractors and other principals. Documents, tickets and vouchers are issued subject to those terms & contracts under which these services are provided.

Privacy

Arkhipelagos will expect that you agree that the services provided shall be used only to make legitimate reservations or purchases and shall not use for any other unlawful or prohibited purposes. Your privacy is important to us and we guarantee the privacy of the browser. All personal information that is collected shall only be used by Arkhipelagos, in which we may disclose personal information only if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such an action is necessary.

Appointment, Reservation and Deposit

Arkhipelagos is ready to meet you in personal for your trip arrangement, tailor-made descriptive day to day itineraries and activities rate. Upon comes to agreement, full payment of trip fare is required should the booking is less than 60 days from the departure date. A minimum deposit of 50% of trip fare is required when the booking/reservation more than 60 days ahead of departure date. The balance of the trip fare must be paid at least 1 month prior to departure. Failure to comply with this may result in an automatic cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of your deposit.

Trip Fare and Exclude Charge

Trip packages included items and services stated in the tailor-made itinerary. Other then listed, additional items or services when required and used will be exclude from trip fare and it is payable by travelers. Such items and services are insurance, visa fees, airport taxes, excess baggage charges, deviation charges, all additional charges incurred by extension stay on traveler’s request, custom levies, portage, international and local telephone calls; room service or any item or service of a purely personal nature such as laundry, beverages, or meals not specified in the itinerary; and optional excursions. Trip fares are subject to revision without prior notice, arising from increase in airport taxes, airfares, transportation costs, hotel rates, local taxes, currency fluctuation, etc.

Travel Insurance

We recommended you to take insurance to cover during travel activities including trip cancellation, losses, claims, damages, injuries or any consequential loss of any kind in contract for any services purchased with certain condition in our competitive quote.

Extention of Stay

In the case that travelers request to extend their stay (self-extension) on and upon trip commencing, the extension of stay is permitted at your own expense for all costs and charge. Existing items/services unused will be forfeited. Reversion to the original trip schedule is not permitted, once a request for an extension of stay is acted upon and arrangements are finalized prior to departure. The fare shall not include any additional charges of such extended stay. No refund in partial or full for unused service.

Amendment

A fee per amendment will applied to an existing booking in addition to any charges imposed by transport operator, hotel, ground operator or airline. An amendment does not constitute a transfer to another trip wherein cancellation fees shall apply. In the event of after amendment, any balance amount after all amendment and additional charges will be forfeited by the Company.

Cancelation Charges

Trip cancellation irrespective of visa rejected by the Embassy or any other specified reasons the following shall apply prior to date of departure:

Upon Confirmation    : 50% of Trip Fare

7-14 Days                : 75% of Trip Fare

Less than 7 Days      : 100% of Trip Fare

Refund Policy

In the event of vehicle breakdown due to unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable maximum 5 hours waiting time for another replacement to come, should this time be exceeded, the fee charged for current service will fully refunded. Demand for full refund of total amount of trip packages and service will not be entertained unless with supportive reasons and evidence.
Upon receiving the refund request order, the process will take up to 4 weeks from the issue date. The Refunded amount will be posted to travelers address or self-collection if preferred. Travelers may call to our office to check the outcome if they do not receive the mentioned payment Cheque after time indicated. Refunded amount will be issued in one Cheque to the person’s name that booked the package. The only exception that the Cheque is not issued to the person’s name that booked the package is if the claimant can proof that he or she was the one who paid for the package.

Travel Documents Requirement

Valid international passport with validity period at least six months from the date returning; and travel visas if any are required. A responsibility for National Service men to ensure own eligibility for exit permits.

Vehicles and Seating Arrangement

Seating arrangement for vehicles is done by the computer system and requesting for certain seat requirements cannot be entertained. Sit in vehicles means you join other passengers for trip of the day in the same vehicles. The transportation will pick up passengers from different locations, and at end of day drop passengers off at selected locations. In the event when no seat numbers given either being free seating or group trip, for convenience of all members of the group, passengers is requested to rotate their seating arrangements on the trip vehicle during the period of the trip. Please co-operate when called upon to do so by the tour leader or guide.
Should there be difficult and uncooperative passengers and travelers onboard the vehicle, whose act and conduct which any staff of the Company (bus captains, tour guide, tour leader and coordinator) deems it to be unreasonable and detrimental to the self-being interest, enjoyment and safety of other passengers and travelers in the smooth running, in general, the acting staff has the discretion to deal with such persons as he/she deem it.

Travelers Responsibilities

All documents issued by the company to travelers should be retained till destination and trip complete, at all times ready for inspection when requested during the trip or upon collection of other vouchers and documents. Be early at correct assemble place for every departure. Late comers will need to take their own way to catch up with the other mode of transport to the destination and Arkhipelagos will not be responsible for any charges to such arrangements.
Each traveler is only allowed to carry reasonable sized baggage and not exceeding 10 kilos in weight and it is traveler responsibilities for excess weight baggage at their own expenses.
Under travelling Indonesia law and act, illegal and restricted items are not permitted to be carried onboard the vehicles and once discovered the involved person shall face consequences and demanded to leave from the vehicle. No compensation from the company for such action.

HOW DO I PAY?

You can choose any of the following modes of payment:

  • Pay By Cash

    We can accept payment in IDR or SGD or USD during our appointment

  • Pay By Cheques

    We can accept cheques in IDR or SGD or USD, provided drawn on a bank in Indonesia and Singapore. Kindly allow for up to 3 working days for clearance of cheques. We will advise on Bank details and other procedures.

  • Pay By Bank Transfers

    We can accept bank transfers in IDR or SGD or USD to our bank accounts in Indonesia and Singapore via Telegraphic Transfer, Internet Banking, and ATM Transfer. Please note that there may be additional charges for TT. Send a copy of your transaction to us to alert us that you have already done so. We will advise on Bank details and other procedures.

  • Pay By Credit Card

    We can accept payment by Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, Amex) payment via written authorization by the card holder emailed to us. Please note that in certain instances, we may be required to request for documents verification via email before approval of payment. This is to protect cardholder against unauthorized use.

  • Pay By Pay Pal

    We can accept payment by PayPal in SGD or USD, easier way to pay online without revealing your credit card number and it’s even more convenient. We will advise on our email address and other procedures.
